Job summary

Primetals Technologies is seeking an EHS and Quality Engineer/Specialist for the Huger, SC location. You will ensure day-to-day compliance with the Quality Management System and Environmental, Health and Safety programs at the local level, reporting to the VP of Quality and EHS and the General Manager in Huger SC.

The role requires coordinating with supervisors and employees to drive safety, quality improvement and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in a related discipline and at least two years of experience in a Quality and EHS role.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations; write reports, procedures and business communications.
Strong problem solving, data interpretation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform and document safety walkthroughs, implement corrections and improvements.
Maintain safety documentation including SDS records and regulatory compliance.
Lead investigations of incidents and develop training programs.
Maintain ISO Document Control and participate in ISO quality audits.
Review and ensure quality requirements for maintenance and repair of equipment.
Coordinate monthly quality meetings and establish supplier quality requirements.
