Job summary

Primetals Technologies, a joint venture of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Partners, is seeking an EHS and Quality Engineer/Specialist for our Huger, SC location. You will ensure day-to-day compliance with the Quality Management System and Environmental, Health and Safety Program at the local level, aligning with VP of Quality and EHS and the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline and at least two years in Quality and EHS.
• Ability to read, interpret and present regulatory and company procedures.
• Proficient in database, risk management, project management, and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document plant safety walkthroughs and implement improvements.
• Maintain safety related documentation including SDS records.
• Maintain regulatory agency compliance and monitor regulation changes.
• Facility management representative for audits/assessments.
• Lead investigations of incidents and root cause analysis.
• Develop and lead safety training programs.
• Maintain quality requirements for maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Coordinate monthly quality meetings and process control.
