Job summary

MiniMed is seeking an EHS Program Manager to lead and manage Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across the organization. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, Manufacturing, and R&D to identify risks, implement controls, and drive continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates bring strong regulatory knowledge, environmental compliance experience, and leadership to influence safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
• CSP certification is preferred.
• Experience managing EHS programs in manufacturing, medical device, or high-tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance (Cal/OSHA, EPA, AQMD, DTSC, CUPA).
• Develop, implement, and improve safety policies, procedures, and standards.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, Manufacturing, and R&D to embed EHS into daily work.
• Drive hazard recognition, risk reduction, incident prevention, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Manage EHS metrics, KPIs, and management reporting.
• Oversee safety programs: Laser, Radiation, Electrical Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Fall Protection, and Hazard Communication.
• Lead environmental compliance programs including waste management, permits, and reporting.
• Coordinate audits, inspections, and corrective actions; support emergency response and training.
