Job summary

Central San is seeking an Environment, Health and Safety Administrator in California to supervise staff responsible for safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, and emergency action plan responses.

The role will develop, implement, and administer safety programs, policies, and procedures, plan and direct safety training, and ensure adherence to established standards and operational quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Safety or related field.
• Minimum five years in safety/industrial hygiene roles with two years leading teams.
• Certifications CSP/CIH/ASP/OHST/CHST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review regulatory requirements and advise on compliance.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs and audits.
• Oversee emergency action plan development and response.
• Lead investigations of accidents and incidents and identify corrective actions.
• Develop contractor safety program standards and pre-construction safety steps.
• Evaluate PPE recommendations and manage equipment purchases.
