Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an intermediate-level EHS expert to support field safety, implement the global EHS management system, and partner with leaders across sites. You will drive injury prevention, training, regulatory compliance, and workers’ compensation processes while helping to minimize risk and improve safety culture.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in EHS (Master’s preferred) and 3+ years in EHS program management at large organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, risk management, safety, industrial, quality, or environmental engineering.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of EHS program management experience at large national or multi-site companies.
• ASP/CSP preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Execute injury prevention programs to minimize injury risk.
• Identify, assess, and control site hazards and support incident investigations with root-cause analyses.
• Deliver, manage, and track compliance training programs per regulations and Sysco policy.
• Support workers’ compensation claims and safe return-to-work processes.
• Collaborate with leaders to manage EHS resources, projects, and decisions.
• Contribute to design of standardized safety systems, policies, and training.
• Support environmental compliance and claims programs.
