Job summary

Frontline Source Group represents a manufacturing client in Louisville, KY seeking an Occupational Health & Safety Professional to join a large, complex operation. The role involves hands-on safety support for employees, supervisors and plant leadership with a strong emphasis on learning and applying EHS principles on the manufacturing floor.

This early-career position focuses on inspections, training, incident investigations, and continuous improvement of safety programs, with roughly 70% floor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field.
• 0–2 years EHS experience (internships allowed).
• Solid foundation in occupational safety fundamentals.
• Ability to learn complex processes and influence safe behavior.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to spend most time on the plant floor.

Responsibilities

• Spend significant time on the manufacturing floor supporting employees and leaders.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Address unsafe behaviors and reinforce safety expectations.
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Support ergonomic evaluations and health & safety programs.
• Assist with OSHA compliance and documentation.
