Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking an EHS Professional to join our team in Cary, NC. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining Environmental Health & Safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of EHS experience (or a related Masters). You will develop processes, support audits, deliver training, and coordinate with regulators to protect people and the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and improve EHS processes, methods, and programs.
  • Plan and execute EHS project rollouts while tracking milestones.
  • Monitor compliance with EHS standards across assigned organizations.
  • Prepare internal and external EHS compliance and regulatory reports.
  • Track changes in environmental, health, and safety laws and update policies.
  • Support internal and external EHS audits.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and maintain relationships.
  • Deliver EHS training to employees and management.
  • Stay current with regional, state, and local EHS regulations.
  • Contribute to process improvements and continuous compliance initiatives.

Location(s): Cary, NC

Experience Required:

  • 2+ years of relevant Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience (or Master's degree entry level).
  • Experience implementing and supporting EHS programs, processes, and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and improve EHS processes, methods, and programs.
  • Plan and execute EHS project rollouts while tracking milestones.

  • Stay current with regional, state, and local EHS regulations.

  • Experience interacting with regulatory agencies.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OSHA, EPA, or equivalent EHS standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile

A candidate with 2-5 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience who has supported EHS compliance, audits, reporting, training, and regulatory programs. The ideal professional is detail‑oriented, knowledgeable of applicable safety and environmental regulations, capable of implementing process improvements, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
