Job summary

Roper Pump Company is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety professional to develop and implement safety programs, conduct audits, and train employees on environmental and safety protocols. The role emphasizes compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED with experience; an associate degree and CSP/CIH are preferred. The position is full-time, on-site in Georgia, with standard hours and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience and training.
• Associate’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental and safety programs and policies.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Provide training and education on environmental and safety protocols.
• Investigate accidents, identify causes, and implement preventive measures.
• Stay current with environmental and safety regulations.
