Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking an EHS Operator for the 2nd shift (4:00pm–1:00am) at our Fort Worth, TX facility. You will support cross-functional teams, improve site EHS performance, and ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA and EPA requirements.

Candidates should have 2+ years in an EHS role and be able to work 2nd shift. Responsibilities include site inspections, incident investigations, training delivery, and maintaining EHS records.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an Assembly/Manufacturing/Warehouse or related field in an EHS role.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards and EPA regulations.
  • Proficient with Outlook and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections, hazard assessments, and environmental monitoring; document findings and action items.
  • Support investigations of workplace incidents and near-misses; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Deliver or assist with safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and new hire orientation on EHS topics.
  • Maintain accurate EHS records, compile metrics, and prepare reports for leadership and agencies.

The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.

We are looking for an EHS Operator – 2ndShift (4:00pm - 1:00am) to join our team! This position reports to the EHS Manager in our new and growing Fort Worth, TX facility, and supports cross-functional teams and EHS committees to improve site EHS performance and compliance.
You’ll make a difference by:
  • Support: Assist in maintaining compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Audits: Conduct routine workplace safety inspections, hazard assessments, and environmental monitoring; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
  • Response: Support investigations of workplace incidents, near misses, and environmental releases; gather data, assist with root cause analysis, and track corrective actions.
  • Communication: Deliver or assist with safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and new hire orientation on EHS topics.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate EHS records, compile metrics, and prepare reports for leadership and regulatory agencies as required.
  • Implementation: Support initiatives such as PPE compliance, waste management, lockout/tagout, hazard communication, confined space entry, and emergency preparedness.
  • Improvement: Participate in projects aimed at reducing risk, improving ergonomics, or enhancing environmental sustainability efforts.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of successful experience in an Assembly/Manufacturing/Warehouse or related field in an EHS role.
  • Able to work 2nd Shift hours: 4:00pm - 1:00am
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and work optimally with all levels of the organization.
  • Well organized and efficient task execution.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and general safety practices.
  • Proficient computer skills including Outlook and MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 (diploma required) and work knowledge of OSHA, EPA and local regulations and reporting.
  • Strong writing capabilities, especially with clear writing, concise EHS procedures.

  • The pay range for this position is $52,836 - $90,576 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
