Job summary

Siemens is seeking an EHS Operator for the 2nd shift (4:00pm–1:00am) at our Fort Worth, TX facility. You will support OSHA/EPA compliance, conduct safety inspections, and help with incident investigations in a cross-functional team environment.

The role requires 2+ years in an EHS-related position, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with MS Office. Opportunities to contribute to waste management, PPE, and emergency preparedness are available.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in an EHS role in Assembly/Manufacturing/Warehouse.
  • Ability to work 2nd Shift: 4:00pm–1:00am.
  • Strong collaborative skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with OSHA/EPA standards and general safety practices.
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Support OSHA, EPA, and other regulations compliance.
  • Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments, and environmental monitoring; document findings and actions.
  • Assist investigations of incidents, near misses, and environmental releases; support root cause analysis.
  • Deliver safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and new hire orientation on EHS topics.
  • Maintain EHS records, compile metrics, and prepare reports for leadership and regulators.
  • Assist with PPE compliance, waste management, lockout/tagout, and emergency preparedness.

The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full
range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe,
reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial,
and industrial markets.

We are looking for an EHS Operator – 2nd Shift (4:00pm – 1:00am) to join our team! This position reports to the EHS Manager in our new andgrowing Fort Worth, TX facility, and supports cross-functional teams and EHScommittees to improve site EHS performance and compliance.
You’ll make a difference by:
  • Support: Assist in maintainingcompliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and localregulations.
  • & Audits: Conduct routineworkplace safety inspections, hazard assessments, and environmental monitoring;document findings and recommend corrective actions.
  • Response: Support investigationsof workplace incidents, near misses, and environmental releases; gather data,assist with root cause analysis, and track corrective actions.
  • & Communication: Deliver orassist with safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and new hire orientationon EHS topics.
  • & Reporting: Maintain accurateEHS records, compile metrics, and prepare reports for leadership and regulatoryagencies as required.
  • Implementation: Supportinitiatives such as PPE compliance, waste management, lockout/tagout, hazardcommunication, confined space entry, and emergency preparedness.
  • Improvement: Participate inprojects aimed at reducing risk, improving ergonomics, or enhancingenvironmental sustainability efforts.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of successful experience in anAssembly/Manufacturing/Warehouse or related field in an EHS role.
  • Able to work 2nd Shift hours: 4:00pm – 1:00am
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and workoptimally with all levels of the organization.
  • Well organized and efficient task execution.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations,and general safety practices.
  • Proficient computer skills including Outlook and MSOffice (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on acontinual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 (diplomarequired) and work knowledge of OSHA, EPA and local regulations andreporting.
  • Strong writing capabilities, especially with clearwriting, concise EHS procedures.
  • Certified Safety Specialist (CSP) certification,Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager(CHMM) certification.
  • Previous Union Settings.
