Job summary

GLOVIS America, Inc. is seeking a safety-focused professional to monitor and improve workplace safety across office and warehouse settings. The role involves identifying hazards, conducting inspections, and stopping unsafe acts to protect employees.

Responsibilities include assisting with safety programs, audits, and incident reporting, with a strong emphasis on PPE, compliance, and collaboration with the Safety Manager. This position is based on-site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license without restrictions.
• Experience in safety or safety-related roles preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the work environment for hazards such as slips, trips, falls, electrical shock, and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Conduct inspections of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity.
• Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
• Assist with entering accident and injury reports into PMvitals.
• Conduct safety audits and PPE compliance checks.
• Issue citations to employees out of compliance.
• Assist Safety Manager in safety programs and audits.
• Assist with issuance/deactivation of access badges and safety procedures.

Summary

Monitor company safety activities and programs to ensure a safe and accident-free work environment for all employees. Conducts facility and vehicle handling safety audits for all employees. Assists with conducting OSHA training, and investigating vehicle accidents and injuries.

Responsibilities

Primary

• Monitor the work environment for possible hazards such as slips, trips, falls, electrical shock, and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Conduct inspections of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity.
• Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
• Assist with entering accident and injury reports into PMvitals.
• Conduct safety audits, to include PPE, observing safety procedures, etc.
• Issue citations to employees out of compliance

Secondary

• Assist Safety Manager in all safety programs.
• Assist with security audits / investigations
• Assist with issuance / deactivation of access badges
• Assist departments in safety procedure
• All other duties assigned

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma/G.E.D
• Must hold a valid state-issued driver's license without restrictions
• Experienced in Safety
