Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager for the Wayland, MI plant. You will lead EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a proactive safety culture.

The role covers training, audits, risk assessments, and emergency planning to protect workers and the environment. The position requires a strong background in manufacturing EHS, with leadership capabilities and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Business Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing EHS experience and program implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives within the Wayland plant.
• Develop and improve site-wide safety, environmental, and risk management programs (LOTO, machine guarding, PIV, hot work, emergency prep).
• Oversee incident management, investigations, and safety metrics to drive injury reduction.
