Job summary

Klöckner Pentaplast Group is seeking a proactive Health and Safety Manager for our Rural Retreat, Virginia manufacturing facility. You will lead safety initiatives, drive a strong safety culture, ensure OSHA compliance, and implement programs to protect employees and promote a safe workplace.

In this hands-on role, you will manage safety policies, conduct trainings, and coordinate with corporate safety teams to uphold high safety standards across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and occupational safety practices.
• Experience in safety program implementation, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Ability to train managers and employees in safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that reduces or eliminates injuries; monitor production floor safety.
• Chair site Safety Team committees and participate in Corporate Safety Team activities.
• Plan and implement OSHA-compliant safety policies and procedures.
• Train managers and employees in on-site safety practices and fire prevention.
• Analyze accident causes and hazards and propose corrective actions.
• Inspect facilities to detect hazards and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
• Provide safety information, signs, posters, barriers and materials to warn of hazards.
• Represent the organization in community or industry safety groups.
• Comply with corporate safety policies and procedures.
• Support site drive for circularity and sustainability.
• Perform other assignments to ensure value in products and services.
