Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to oversee safety, health, and environmental compliance across manufacturing operations in Houston. The role develops, implements, and maintains safety programs and regulatory standards to promote a safe workplace and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include leading OSHA/EPA compliance, audits, incident investigations, training, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in EH&S or related field and 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial settings with safety protocols.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and environmental regulatory compliance.
• First Aid & CPR certification desirable; OSHA or environmental management system certs preferred.
• Strong report writing and data analysis skills for continuous improvement.
• Leadership skills to foster proactive safety culture across organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments; recommend corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and document findings with preventive measures.
• Oversee hazardous materials regulations compliance: storage, handling, disposal, documentation.
• Manage workers' compensation processes per legal requirements and policy.
