Job summary

Stryker is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead the development and improvement of site EHS programs in a manufacturing setting. The role partners with operations and leadership to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations while fostering a proactive safety culture.

You will drive training, audits, incident investigations, and risk management, track metrics, and report on program effectiveness, with travel around 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree required.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in manufacturing EHS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site's EHS strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Drive proactive safety culture through engagement and training.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and standards.
• Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Partner with operations to reduce workplace risk and improve safety performance.
• Manage emergency preparedness programs, including drills and continuity planning.
• Deliver EHS training for employees and contractors.
• Track EHS metrics and report program effectiveness to site leadership.
• Lead internal audits and support regulatory interactions and assessments.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation.
• Manage EHS projects, budgets, and action plans.
