Black Box is seeking a Safety Manager to ensure OSHA compliance across sites, lead safety training, and oversee daily safety programs. You will inspect environments, review regulations, and work toward preventing health issues through proactive safety measures.

You will investigate incidents, identify root causes, and collaborate with General Contractors to implement corrective actions in a matrixed organization while communicating effectively with all levels of the workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or five years of equivalent training/experience.
• 5+ years EH&S experience.
• Solid understanding of OSHA, DOT and Worker's Compensation regulations.
• Ability to lead and educate at all levels.
• Must excel autonomously in safety environments.

Responsabilités

• Inspects the work environment and processes to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Protects employees, customers, and the environment.
• Leads safety training programs.
• Reviews and investigates accident reports to identify root causes.
• Conducts project inspections and weekly safety meetings at sites.
• Detects and solves safety problems effectively.
• Builds relationships with General Contractors to ensure safety measures are working.
• Maintains day-to-day oversight of safety programs and compliance.
• Ensures federal, state, and local standards are observed.
• Reviews new standards to determine relevance to operations.
