Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a Safety Manager to drive a proactive safety culture across our fulfillment center. You will own strategic safety oversight and hands-on execution, including floor-level presence, walkthroughs, incident investigations, and training.

You will ensure compliance is lived, not just documented, and manage the full spectrum of safety programs daily. You will own OSHA recordables, audits, and safety metrics, coordinate with P&C and Operations, and maintain emergency plans and costs

Qualifications

• 6+ years of safety or EHS experience in roles of progressive responsibility.
• Experience leading Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and safety audits.
• Experience investigating incidents and conducting root-cause analyses.
• Ability to own and execute integrated safety programs independently.

Responsibilities

• Own safety programs across the fulfillment center and drive proactive safety culture.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are completed on time.
• Deliver training and ensure compliance is lived, not just documented.
• Conduct floor-level safety walkthroughs and support audits.
• Manage workers’ compensation programs and modified duty strategies.
• Prepare for and respond to emergencies with current plans and resources.
