Job summary

B.H. Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead safety operations at its data center project sites in Utah. You will direct on-site technicians, implement safety programs, and drive compliance across major projects.

The role requires a proven safety leader with construction or heavy industry experience, OSHA 510 or CHST certification, and willingness to travel on a 5 weeks on/1 week off schedule. Compensation includes per diem and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Schedule: Full-Time | 5 weeks on, 1 week off (approx. 50 hours/week)

• $95,000 - $110,000/year (depending on experience) + Per Diem.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As our EHS Manager, you will oversee all safety protocols on the job site and act as the primary safety leader during Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and plan-of-the-day meetings. You will supervise at least one Safety Technician, ensuring all crew members adhere to safety programs, Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG), site-specific safety assessments (SSA), and proper PPE usage.

QUALIFICATIONS

• OSHA 510 certification OR Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of dedicated safety experience in construction or heavy industry, with proven management experience.
• Willingness to accommodate heavy travel requirements (5 weeks on, 1 week off).
• Strong communication skills, incident investigation expertise, and the ability to manage and mentor safety personnel with minimal supervision.
