Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 2 years related experience as a Safety Manager in construction or heavy industry.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Experience in accident investigation.
• Computer literacy: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with crane and rigging codes, standards, and regulations.
• Identify and ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety standards at branches and large sites.
• Follow corporate policies to ensure compliance at facilities and work sites.
• Conduct regular and random safety inspections and prepare reports for corporate review.
• Review injury/accident reports and develop corrective actions; create JHA.
• Conduct regular safety meetings with management and employees.
• Implement EHS policies and written communications.
• Maintain DOT compliance and driver files.
• Prepare and disseminate safety information regularly.
• Pursue ongoing professional development in EHS and related operations.
