Caterpillar Inc. in Mapleton, Illinois is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead EHS activities for a medium to large facility. You will provide leadership, mentoring and direction to hourly, salaried and management personnel.
You will strengthen environmental compliance by identifying hazards, supporting regulatory requirements, auditing programs and using performance trends to drive improvements. This role offers exposure to air compliance, water regulations and hazardous waste management
Formación
- Extensive knowledge of EHS policies and how to implement to ensure safety and compliance.
- Extensive knowledge of processes and tools to assess and control organizational risk.
- Ability to work with diverse teams in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Knowledge of approaches and tools to recognize, anticipate and resolve problems.
- Basic knowledge of sustainability strategy and integrating it into business strategy.
Responsabilidades
- Identify hazards and establish guidelines for protection from hazards.
- Ensure EHS training is completed to comply with regulations and objectives.
- Audit safety, health and environmental programs for compliance and adequacy.
- Monitor performance reports for trends and alert management to improvements.
