Job summary

Ingenium Talent has partnered with a fast-growing distilled spirits manufacturer just south of Louisville, KY to hire an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager. This hands-on leader will build a world-class safety culture, drive meaningful change, and influence EHS across the operation.

You'll lead safety and environmental programs across manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, strengthen employee engagement, and coach the EHS team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and regulatory compliance.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve safety and environmental programs across manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations
• Drive a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, training, and accountability initiatives
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
• Partner closely with operations leadership to identify risks and drive continuous improvement
• Oversee contractor safety, workers' compensation, audits, inspections, and emergency response planning
• Lead, coach, and develop EHS team members while helping establish the long‑term safety vision for the site
