Job summary

Owens Corning offers an Environmental Health & Safety Leadership Program intended to fast‑track early career professionals into EHS roles across North American plants.

The 24‑month program combines leadership training, mentorship from senior EHS leaders and engineers, and hands-on project experience. Participants complete the program at a US manufacturing site and transition into EHS Leader or Specialist positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety management, Chemical engineering or an equivalent field.
• Previous internships/co-ops in a manufacturing setting.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead projects and development project plans.
• Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations.
• Willingness and flexibility to relocate (assistance provided) during or upon completion of the program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare candidates for EHS roles within North American manufacturing facilities.
• Provide leadership training and mentorship from experienced EHS leaders, specialists, and engineers.
• Complete the 24‑month program at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant.
• Program outcomes include placement in full-time EHS Leader or Specialist roles.
• Participants are based at various manufacturing sites in the US.
