Job summary

Sika Corporation in Marion, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety leader to oversee site programs and compliance.

You will coach leadership, manage training, conduct risk assessments, and drive incident investigations to maintain a safe, productive workplace.

This role collaborates across operations to integrate corporate EHS standards and support a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in occupational safety or environmental health.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in safety, environmental health, or similar roles.
• Chemical manufacturing background preferred; CSP/CIH and MS preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and influence skills with all levels of staff.
• Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, RMP regulations and reporting.
• Experience fostering world-class safety culture (Bradley Curve).

Responsibilities

• Lead site in Environmental, Health & Safety, Ergonomics, and Emergency Response.
• Coach leadership on safe behaviors and safety culture.
• Lead and manage EHS training programs.
• Lead risk assessments such as HIRA, JHA/JSA, and safe work permits.
• Participate in safety walks and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with EHS systems (Sphera, Gensuite, etc.).
• Support process safety management and risk management program.
• Collaborate on annual Sika Safe Program and New Hire orientation.
• Assist HR with workers compensation data and post-injury follow-up.
