The EHS Manager at Tenneco will lead Environmental, Health & Safety at the site, aligning plant goals to EHS requirements and driving improvements across all departments. You will build a culture of safety, educate the workforce on best practices, manage certifications, incidents, and data, and partner with leadership to ensure business continuity while achieving world-class EHS performance.

This role requires strategic vision, strong communication, and hands-on leadership to prevent incidents

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; professional certifications preferred (Safety Professional, Industrial Hygienist, Hazardous Material Manager, or country equivalents).
• Minimum 3–5 years leading an EHS function in manufacturing, focused on safety culture and employee training.
• Strategic vision and strong communication for EHS engagement; proven experience in operational excellence within EH&S.

Responsabilités

• Drive EHS objectives with the management team and reinforce the safety culture.
• Lead site-wide EHS improvements and deploy accountability across departments.
• Contribute to EHS KPIs and engage stakeholders on prevention and compliance.
• Support corporate EHS initiatives including sustainability efforts.
• Coordinate risk assessments and set targets based on key EHS risks.
• Organize certifications and interface with authorities to prevent findings.
• Pursue third-party recognition (ISO 14001, 45001, 50001) for world-class programs.
• Ensure permits, reports, and data management for the site.
• Investigate EHS events and drive corrective actions.
• Use Enablon or similar data processes to manage injuries, metrics, actions.
• Create EHS training matrices and track completion.
