Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) Professional (Supervisor) to oversee day-to-day safety initiatives at our Le Center, MN production facility.

The role focuses on promoting safe work practices, administering the EHS program, and leading incident investigations. You will maintain records, drive corrective actions, and partner with HR to manage workers’ compensation while fostering a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Technical safety degree or certification required.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
• Professional designation (CSP/CRSP) is a plus but not required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; leadership qualities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Highly motivated, service- and team-oriented with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and state safety regulations and advise management on actions.
• Lead or support incident investigations and track data.
• Maintain safety records and administer corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other facilities to share best practices and support initiatives.
• Review procedures and perform safety inspections including risk assessments.
• Monitor adherence to the company safety program for all employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Partner with HR in workers' compensation management.
• Complete and submit compliance reports (e.g., 300, 300A) where applicable.
• Coordinate the site health and safety committee and liaise on-site security.
• Assist in developing the facility's safety culture.
