Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead EHS programs at our plant, ensuring a safe work environment and regulatory compliance. The role involves coaching teams, implementing the EHSMS, and coordinating audits and safety communications.

The ideal candidate has five years of manufacturing EHS experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and proven incident investigation skills. Travel up to 50% and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Five years working experience in EHS in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in incident investigation, hazard analysis/assessments, and problem solving.
• Good working knowledge of regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, ANSI).
• Proficient in applying risk assessment to operations.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day Environmental, Health and Safety activities at the plant.
• Support plant employees and management with visible safety presence.
• Coach and implement EH&S programs; ensure compliance with legislation.
• Audit SMS and update to align with project scope and conditions.
• Organize safety staff, first aid coverage, and safety boards.
• Investigate incidents, determine root cause, and ensure corrective actions.
