Steffes is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to monitor and improve EHS conditions at our Dickinson, ND location. You will partner with the EHS team and operations to implement programs that reduce incidents and promote Mission Zero.

The role requires 2+ years in EHS, knowledge of OSHA/EPA regs, and strong communication. You will lead training, conduct risk assessments, and generate reports while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related technical, manufacturing, or engineering field.
• 2+ years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and workers’ compensation regulations.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Self-driven with strong time management and prioritization.
• Willingness to complete OSHA 30, First Aid/CPE/AED training.

Responsabilités

• Provide EHS support across operations to reduce incidents and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop or update EHS programs and procedures.
• Lead site-specific EHS improvement projects.
• Coordinate EHS training, including new hire orientation.
• Conduct routine EHS inspections and incident investigations.
• Maintain records and generate EHS reports for regulatory agencies.
