Job summary

AGCO is offering an Environmental, Health, and Safety Intern position for Summer 2027 at our Hesston, Kansas facility. As an intern, you will be an important part of the team from day one and gain valuable hands-on experience.

You will work on safety programs, audits, training materials, and risk assessments, developing practical skills in regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. This onsite internship provides exposure to real-world operations and safety culture at AGCO.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to commute to the Hesston, Kansas work location daily.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of safety programs and procedures that promote a strong safety culture across the facility.
• Assist with ergonomic assessments and improvement initiatives to help create a safer and more efficient work environment.
• Participate in safety and environmental audits to help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Review, update, and develop employee training materials that strengthen safety awareness and knowledge.
• Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and workplace evaluations to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
