Parker Industrial Process Filtration is seeking an intern to support the Environmental, Health, and Safety team. You will help promote safety and compliance across plant operations, under direct supervision, and contribute to form development and training updates.

The role involves evaluating noise levels, improving waste handling processes, and assisting with stormwater and potential air-permitting tasks. Ideal candidates are proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative, currently pursuing

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in a related field (Safety, Environmental Sciences, Public Health, Chemical Engineering).
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new applications.

Responsibilities

• Developing forms for EHS processes.
• Review New Hire trainings and site-specific trainings.
• Re-evaluate noise levels in PEM, Cores, and Filtertex.
• Develop forms and processes for waste movement and storage.
• Improve waste containment to shipping processes and manifest collection.
• Assist with stormwater collection and potential air-permitting tasks.
