Job summary

Seagate Technology is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Intern to support PFAS regulatory analyses and EH&S programs. You will work at our Normandale/Bloomington location, contribute to chemical management, wastewater, stormwater, and air emissions tasks, and gain exposure to multiple EH&S activities.

The role emphasizes communication, collaboration, and applying engineering and analytical skills while you learn from site professionals in the US and Northern Ireland.

Qualifications

• Completion of coursework in environmental engineering, chemistry, related EHS programs, or another related field.
• Pursuit of a BS or MS degree in EHS or Environmental Engineering, returning Fall 2027.
• Strong verbal and written communication; collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Understand PFAS background and regulatory implications.
• Identify potential vendor chemicals and PFAS-containing components.
• Identify critical manufacturers of these chemicals.
• Investigate PFAS usage and alternatives.
• Gain exposure to multiple EH&S programs including Chemical Management, Wastewater, Stormwater, Hazardous Waste, and Air Emissions.
• Collaborate with site professionals in the US and Northern Ireland.
