BorgWarner invites applications for an EHS Intern position designed to provide hands-on learning in environmental, health and safety at the entry level within a Tier-One automotive supplier context.
Internships are offered for traditional spring and fall semesters and the summer period between them, with opportunities to work on planning, permitting, design and construction execution documents, and to gain exposure to safety and health information in engineering projects.
The BorgWarner Information Environmental Health and Safety Intern Program is designed to provide a hands-on opportunity and environment to learn the profession of EHS at the entry level from the perspective of a Tier-One Automotive Supplier. We are seeking EHS Interns for the traditional spring and fall semesters as well as the summer months between the spring and fall semesters.
Integrating environmental, safety and health requirements into the planning, permitting, design and construction execution documents for projects. Interpreting company, local and national regulatory requirements. Evaluating and applying specialized scientific principles to formulate project scopes and plans. Providing specialized environments, safety and health information in engineering and construction projects.
Currently enrolled in a four-year Bachelors degree program (or 2 plus 2) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health & Science, Fire Protection & Safety Technology, Health & Safety Management or related field from accredited college or University. Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health & Science, Fire Protection & Safety Technology, Health & Safety Management or related field. Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Pay Range: $21.89 - $29.86
Pay Range: $19.63-28.40
