Job summary

Excelitas Technologies is seeking an Environmental, Health, Safety and Facilities Manager for its Billerica site to lead EHS and facilities operations across photonics/MEMS laser manufacturing and high-voltage power supply lines. You will manage safety programs, regulatory compliance, maintenance, and business continuity.

The role partners with site leadership, develops emergency plans, and drives a strong safety culture through training and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, safety or related field; CSP/CIH/CHMM a plus.
• 7+ years in EHS/facilities in manufacturing; 3+ in leadership.
• Experience with high-voltage safety and laser safety preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, MA regs; waste management and permitting.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS and facilities team and contractors; hiring and coaching.
• Develop and improve site safety programs including high-voltage and laser safety.
• Ensure environmental compliance with OSHA, EPA and MA regs.
• Oversee facilities operations: HVAC, electrical, cleanrooms, maintenance.
• Lead emergency preparedness, drills, business continuity.
• Manage site security and access control.
• Support audits and certifications; drive safety culture.
