Quantum Computing Inc. (QCi) seeks an experienced EHS Engineer to manage day-to-day environmental, health, and safety operations across four facilities in NJ and MA.

The role requires strong compliance expertise, hazardous materials management, and advancing safety programs at Bedford, MA with 25–30% travel to other locations. A hands-on leader will ensure regulatory adherence and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 5+ years in an EHS role within manufacturing or semiconductor environment, ISO class 4 experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EPA/OSHA/RCRA/DOT regulations and local requirements.
• Experience with hazardous waste management and chemical inventory practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting (Tier II, TRI) and environmental permitting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental, health, and safety operations at multiple sites with 25–30% travel between locations.
• Lead hazardous waste management, chemical inventories, labeling, manifesting, and waste disposal coordination.
• Manage inspections (eyewash, emergency showers, extinguishers) and maintain records.
• Support regulatory reporting and SDS management; ensure safety trainings and risk controls are in place.
• Develop and implement corrective actions from incidents and audits.
