Job summary

Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is seeking a full-time EHS Engineer for our St. Marys, PA location. You will report to the Corporate Manager of EHS and support safety, health, and environmental programs.

The role requires a BS in Health, Safety, or Environmental fields or equivalent experience, excellent communication, and a hands-on approach to compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health, Safety, or Environmental field (or 5 years related experience).
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and safety software.
• Strong written and oral communication with a continuous improvement mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records for Safety & Health programs and OSHA regulations.
• Monitor health and safety activities to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Lead risk management initiatives and coordinate inspections.
• Conduct environmental evaluations, sampling, and permit compliance reporting.
• Administer Workers’ Compensation program and site safety training.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and update safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Perform safety audits, risk assessments, and equipment safety evaluations.
• Coordinate First Responder training and participate in capital project support.
• Maintain SDS system and chemical inventory; manage hazardous waste streams.
