Job summary

ES Foundry Corp in Greenwood, SC is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer to lead site EHS performance, drive regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safety across operations.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, strong regulatory knowledge, and a track record of continuous improvement. You will train staff, lead investigations, and collaborate with maintenance and operations to minimize risk while supporting manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or OH&S/Environmental.
• 5-8 years of experience in occupational health, safety and environmental.
• 3+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing operation, preferably chemical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Implement EHS improvement strategies to meet regulatory requirements and reduce risk.
• Review EHS regulations and develop/modify programs and documentation.
• Identify key EHS risks with stakeholders and drive resolution through engagement.
• Develop and improve EHS programs to ensure site compliance.
• Deliver EHS training and assist in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Lead site safety initiatives to meet PSM and RMP requirements.
• Coordinate site security programs and monitor issues.
