Job summary

Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an EHS Engineer to implement and sustain site Environmental, Health, and Safety programs in Lodi, CA, on-site. You will partner with site leaders to strengthen safety culture and regulatory compliance, with responsibility for EHS processes and training.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience (or a Master’s degree with 0+ years) and strong data skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 2+ years of experience in EHS
• Master’s degree candidates may have 0+ years of experience
• Experience with regulatory EHS requirements (federal, state, local)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain site EHS compliance programs and management systems
• Assess workplace risks and occupational exposures; develop corrective actions
• Lead or support EHS projects, inspections, incident investigations, and training
• Interpret regulations; conduct regulatory audits and deliver site-specific safety training
• Support environmental and sustainability metrics (hazardous materials, waste, energy)
