Job summary

Quanta Manufacturing Fremont seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer to drive hazard analyses, risk reduction, and regulatory compliance across high-volume server assembly and test operations. You will lead injury prevention, ergonomics programs, and incident investigations, while partnering with engineering and facilities teams to enhance safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in semiconductor or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of EPA, Cal/OSHA, IBC, Fire Code, NFPA, ANSI.
• Experience with ergonomics, hazardous materials, LOTO, machine safety, and incident investigation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional certifications CSP, CIH, or CHMM are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead hazard analyses, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Apply engineering controls to reduce hazards and improve equipment safety.
• Review electrical diagrams and facility drawings to support safe operations.
• Implement noise reduction and acoustic control for server environments.
• Support incident investigations and employee safety training.
• Partner with facilities on fire/life safety and business continuity.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce injuries and environmental impact.
