Job summary

Galaxy, a global leader in digital assets and data center infrastructure, seeks an EHS Engineer for the Helios data center campus in Afton, Texas. You will independently manage EHS programs, conduct incident investigations, and deliver training to uphold a strong preventive safety culture on site.

This role requires 3–5 years of EHS experience in critical facilities, knowledge of OSHA/EPA/NFPA standards, and hands-on program leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering required; equivalent practical experience may be substituted for formal education
• 3–5 years of EHS experience in critical facility / industrial operations environment
• ASP preferred; CSP encouraged
• Site-level compliance program and hands-on incident investigation experience
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, & NFPA standards
• Proficiency in EHS recordkeeping, OSHA 300 log management, and training documentation systems

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical EHS resource for assigned work areas at our Helios data center campus
• Develop, implement, and maintain site-level EHS programs in compliance with regulatory standards
• Conduct job hazard analyses, pre-task planning, and risk assessments across Galaxy work areas
• Manage hazardous waste programs and regulatory reporting (RCRA, satellite accumulation)
• Lead site-level incident and near-miss investigations with corrective action tracking
• Write incident reports and communicate hazard findings to operations and construction teams
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for Galaxy employees and contractors
• Maintain OSHA recordkeeping obligations (300/300A logs, 301 forms)
• Conduct workplace risk/exposure assessments for various hazards
• Periodically inspect and audit safe work practices for compliance
• Provide technical guidance to EHS Technicians
• Escalate regulatory concerns to the Sr. Manager, EHS
• Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Manager, EHS
