Job summary

Galaxy is seeking an EHS Engineer for its Helios data center campus in Afton, Texas. You will manage assigned EHS programs, perform hazard analyses, lead investigations, and deliver training to Galaxy employees and contractors onsite.

You will bring a bachelor's degree in EHS or related field, 3–5 years of EHS experience in critical facilities, and progress toward CSP; familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and NFPA standards is essential, along with strong communication and training skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
• 3–5 years of EHS experience in critical facility/industrial operations
• ASP preferred; CSP encouraged
• Site-level compliance program and hands-on incident investigation experience
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, & NFPA standards
• Proficiency in EHS recordkeeping, OSHA 300 log management, and training documentation systems

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical EHS resource for Helios campus operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain site-level EHS programs per regs.
• Conduct JHAs, pre-task planning, and risk assessments.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations; implement corrective actions.
• Write reports and communicate hazard findings to teams.
• Deliver EHS training to employees, subs, and new hires.
• Maintain OSHA records and regulatory submittals; monitor compliance.
• Provide guidance to EHS Technicians and escalate as needed.
