JCI has built the industry's leading thermal management platform for the applications that demand it most.
As an EHS Engineer, you will lead the development and maintenance of our safety programs, ensuring full compliance with OSHA and local regulations while fostering a strong behavioral safety culture. You will serve as the site Safety Officer and EHS Committee lead, conducting regular audits and risk assessments to proactively mitigate workplace hazards. Additionally, you will partner cross-functionally to support facility expansions and equipment installations through EHS design reviews, lead incident investigations, manage hazardous materials, and deliver comprehensive training programs to maintain a safe, compliant, and collaborative manufacturing environment.
This position generally requires a commitment of 4 days onsite per week.
You are a dedicated safety professional who takes pride in creating environments where people can do their best work with minimized risk. You are hands-on and proactive. You want to understand the intricate details of how our manufacturing systems and equipment operate, because you know that true safety comes from deep, practical knowledge of the risks we face. You are comfortable navigating complex safety and regulatory requirements, but you never lose sight of the fact that your ultimate goal is building a culture where everyone looks out for one another.
