Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Temporary EHS Data Entry Specialist to ensure accurate and timely entry of safety, environmental, and health data into our reporting systems. This full-time, year-long role supports the safety leadership team with daily site performance visibility, incident metrics, and inspection tracking.

The position requires attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience in data entry within a manufacturing or EHS environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in data entry or admin support, ideally in manufacturing/EHS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS software.

Responsibilities

• Incident Report Input: Accurately enter and process incoming EHS incident, near-miss, and injury reports into UPrevent database in a timely manner.
• Daily Safety Observation Reports: Collect, compile, and format daily safety observation data from site safety members to generate and distribute daily safety observation reports to key management.
• Safety Inspection Logging: Input data from routine workplace safety inspections, facility audits, and hazard assessments; track identified corrective actions to closure.
• Data Verification & Maintenance: Audit incoming forms for missing details, follow up with field personnel to clarify incomplete data, and resolve discrepancies before logging.
• Recordkeeping & Filing: Organize and maintain digital archives of inspection records, incident documentation, and regulatory paperwork in accordance with record retention policies.
• Reporting Support: Assist the EHS team in pulling raw data and running basic routine reports (weekly/monthly logs, trend summaries, open action items).
