Job summary

CRH's Oldcastle Infrastructure seeks an EHS Coordinator to coordinate new hire onboarding, manage safety trainings, and lead incident investigations across North American operations.

In this role you will reinforce safe behaviors, conduct hazard analyses, drive risk reduction, and partner with plant teams to upgrade training programs while ensuring OSHA compliance and policy alignment. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Safety-related degree or certification (OSHA, NSC, ASSE) is a plus.
• Environmental experience preferred.
• Some industrial experience preferred.
• Prior training/public speaking experience preferred.
• Familiar with OSHA and federal/state regulations related to safety, health and environmental issues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong written and oral skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety awareness training and onboarding for new hires.
• Conduct authorized safety training as required.
• Participate in incident investigations and identify corrective actions.
• Provide training on incident investigation and root cause analysis to supervision.
• Provide training on behavior-based safety and track data.
• Drive participation by plant employees in safety initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments and facilitate corrective actions for at-risk tasks.
• Update and upgrade training programs.
