Job summary

Nucor Skyline Longview in Longview, WA is seeking an EHS Coordinator to support safety, environmental, quality, and profitability objectives across the division. The role focuses on delivering effective environmental, health & safety support to teammates and improving a culture that prioritizes safety.

The successful candidate will implement loss prevention, safety, health, environmental controls, and ensure compliance with regulations; lead training and audits and coordinate industrial hygiene

Qualifications

• Prior experience in EHS necessary.
• OSHA 30-hour training.
• Certified to conduct OSHA trainings.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, environmental, quality, cost, productivity and profitability objectives for the division.
• Provide effective EHS support to improve and sustain a safety‑focused culture.
• Coordinate compliance with air, water and waste permitting and reporting; implement best practices.
• Develop safe job analyses and procedures; identify training needs and deliver training.
• Audit safety and environmental programs; participate in safety focus teams.

Education

Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental, or related field
