The role offers autonomy with limited supervision and strong career advancement within Vestcom and Avery Dennison. The position requires 1–3+ years in EHS, a solid understanding of OSHA/EPA regulations, and the ability to train and advise site leadership.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of EHS, occupational safety, or environmental compliance experience.
• Foundational understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and educate team members across all levels.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Safety Culture & Compliance: Implement EHS systems, conduct facility audits, and ensure daily adherence to OSHA, EPA, and internal EHS standards.
• Hazard Assessment & Incident Prevention: Facilitate risk assessments, self-inspections, and root-cause analyses to address deficiencies and track corrective actions.
• Training & Advisory: Develop and deliver site training while serving as an EHS advisor to facility leadership and staff.
• Metrics & Reporting: Monitor EHS metrics, track performance indicators, and notify leadership of incidents as required.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current on regulatory laws and partner with multi-site teams to support corporate EHS and sustainability initiatives.
