Job summary

Vestcom (an Avery Dennison company) seeks an EHS Coordinator to drive environmental compliance, occupational health, and safety programs across U.S. manufacturing facilities. You will conduct hazard assessments, lead root-cause investigations, and foster a proactive safety culture with limited supervision.

You will have opportunities for direct career advancement across Vestcom and the Avery Dennison enterprise, with a shift pattern Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of EHS, occupational safety, or environmental compliance experience in a manufacturing or multi-site environment.
• Foundational understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations, hazard assessments, and waste management practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and educate team members across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Safety Culture & Compliance: Implement EHS systems, conduct facility audits, and ensure daily adherence to OSHA, EPA, and internal EHS standards.
• Hazard Assessment & Incident Prevention: Facilitate risk assessments, self-inspections, and root-cause analyses to address deficiencies and track corrective actions.
• Training & Advisory: Develop and deliver engaging site training while serving as a trusted EHS advisor to facility leadership and staff.
• Metrics & Reporting: Monitor leading and lagging performance indicators, track EHS metrics, and notify leadership or regulatory agencies of incidents as required.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current on regulatory laws and partner with multi-site teams to support corporate EHS and sustainability initiatives.
