Job summary

Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) is seeking an EHS Coordinator for our Katy, TX headquarters. The role supports the shop, warehouse, and office in EHS matters, including safe permitting processes and incident investigations, and it involves developing EHS training and new hire orientation.

This role will sit in the office in Katy, TX and is not eligible for visa sponsorship. As part of Koch Engineered Solutions, OPD emphasizes safety, compliance, and continuous improvement while serving

Qualifications

• Experience in EHS support or related field.
• Willingness to be CPR/AED/First Aid certified.
• Certified under the Substance Abuse Testing policy.

Responsibilities

• Support the shop, warehouse, and office in EHS matters including safe permitting processes and incident investigations.
• Organize and participate in inspections to ensure safe operations and work practices.
• Develop and present EHS training as well as conduct new hire orientation.
• Assist in leading EHS committee activities and following up on action items.
• Drive environmental excellence such that compliance with all environmental rules and regulations is achieved.
• Manage the Katy SWP3 and required testing.
• Facilitate continuous improvement by identifying creative solutions to gaps in systems and processes.
• Develop a culture of trust with all OPD employees by establishing and cultivating relationships through effective interactions and timely response to employees concerns and requests.
