Job summary

Pacific Coast Producers, a farmer-owned cooperative, is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator for The Dalles, OR. The role is full-time and on-site, offering a salary range of $45,000 to $60,000 annually based on experience.

You will support environmental, health, and safety operations across two facilities, maintain compliance records, and coordinate employee training. The position includes benefits like medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in an EHS role or safety-focused position.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is required.
• Associates degree in workplace safety or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, organize, and update all EHS training files, compliance records, OSHA logs, and safety data sheets (SDS).
• Assist with routine facility walkthroughs and safety audits to identify hazards.
• Schedule, track, and prepare materials for employee safety training, orientation, and drills.
• Assist in gathering documentation for incident investigations or Workers' Compensation files.
• Monitor and maintain PPE inventory, first aid stations, and safety signage across both facilities.
• Participate in safety committee meetings and support facility objectives.
