Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. seeks an entry-level Environmental, Health, and Safety Coordinator to support safety programs across our manufacturing sites in Ohio. You will assist with inspections, incident reviews, and training, helping to maintain compliance and a safe workplace.

Ideal candidates are eager to learn, with an interest in EHS. Relevant coursework or certifications are welcome, and a valid driver’s license is required for site access and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Education in EHS fields is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to Sabre Industries safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement standard Environmental, Health, and Safety programs to minimize risks.
• Review incidents and support corrective action plans.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and training sessions.
• Develop JSAs and promote safety awareness.
• Participate in safety meetings and emergency response.
• Conduct risk assessments and support EHS program development.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibility

Coordinate and implement standard Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, hazard recognition, and safety inspections to minimize risks and ensure compliance.

Essential Duties

• Manage key safety programs (PPE, Respiratory Protection, Hazard Communication, JSA, etc.) with training provided.
• Review incidents and support corrective action plans.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and training sessions.
• Develop JSAs and promote safety awareness.
• Participate in safety meetings and emergency response.
• Conduct risk assessments and support EHS program development.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Education

• Relevant coursework or EHS-related certifications welcome.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience

• Entry-level candidates with strong willingness to learn encouraged.
• Training and mentorship provided.
• 1–3 years preferred.

Skills & Abilities

• Valid driver’s license and insurable under company policy.
• Willingness to learn EHS regulations and principles.
• Strong communication, detail-orientation, and multitasking skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in office and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and perform inspections throughout the facility.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to identify hazards and maintain a strong safety mindset.
