Job summary

EVAPCO, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support environmental programs, occupational health, and industrial safety. You will help identify, develop, and implement EHS solutions while ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and EVAPCO requirements.

The EHS Coordinator will provide leadership and guidance to employees for EHS practices and procedures. You will report directly to the Site EHS Manager and contribute to maintaining EVAPCO's reputation as

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in manufacturing.
Professional certifications are a plus (CHMM, ASP, etc.).
Certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED, or ability to earn within 6 months.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Support programs to reduce work-related illnesses and injuries and improve operations productivity.
Develop safety training for management and line staff.
Lead EHS-related training sessions and periodic meetings (Safety Committee, etc.).
Assist with accident/incident investigations to determine root causes and corrective actions.
Maintain EHS documentation and provide data/reports to site management.
