Job Title: EHS Coordinator
Job Description:

Assist the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager in managing programs to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local EHS regulations, while achieving the company's safety goals and objectives.

Essential Functions and Activities:
  1. Maintain an Access Database of incidents.
  2. Interpret OSHA standards and serve as a resource for supervisors, group leaders, and team members with the assistance of the EHS Manager.
  3. Present training materials to support compliance with company health & safety programs, such as forklift, crane, respirator, lockout/tagout, hazard communication, RCRA, etc., as assigned by the EHS Manager.
  4. Audit work areas to ensure compliance with training and written programs, and to reduce incident risks.
  5. Review completed pre-shift/machine check sheets to verify that non-compliance issues are being addressed.
  6. Assist in incident investigations to determine root causes and corrective actions.
  7. Track and maintain certifications for EHS and DOT programs, including tracking due dates for training, medical surveillance, respirator fit tests, etc.
  8. Schedule DOT random drug testing and oversee annual hearing tests.
  9. Support and participate in Morgan Olson's PPS team efforts.
  10. Adhere to the Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations, maintaining a customer-focused approach, and supporting continuous improvement activities.
  11. Follow safety policies and practices, including behavioral-based safety, at all times.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Proficient in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  2. Familiar with database systems related to EHS and Workers Compensation.
  3. Capable of training and presenting materials professionally.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all organizational levels and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
